My Name is Jeff

Hello!
My name is Jeff Morris and I am a 53 year old man who lives in Jessup, Maryland with my wife, Rebecca, and our 2 Shelties (Shetland Sheepdogs) Misty (10) and Bruno (5). Both of them are adopted from homes that could not properly care for them, and they bring joy to our lives daily!

I have a son, also named Jeff (original, right?) who is 34 and works as a Juvenile Probation Officer. Last year he married a wonderful girl named Gloria, and just last month they had a baby who they named Isadora (Izzy!), my first grandchild. She was born on the day before we had the big earthquake here! We think that is a sign that the force is strong with that one...LOL!

A few years ago I suffered a stroke which left me with permanent brain damage as well as other issues that prevent me from working a regular job. For the first few years it took a lot of time to work on the basics and trying to put my life back together, but as I gained more control I decided I wanted to do something to help work on both my physical as well as mental issues, so I decided to try blogging! At first I had problems understanding just some of the basics (there were no computers when I was in school!) and I still do not understand many things, but rather than frustrating myself I just write what I feel like and do not worry if I use the right key words!
Recently I decided to try something a little more challenging, Internet Marketing. I do it as a hobby but many people have decided to try to make a living doing it. It turns out to be harder and more challenging than I expected, but I think that it is what I need at this point as a therapy tool. I just keep in mind that it is just a hobby and do not let myself get too frustrated, which would not be a good thing! Here is an example of my latest try:

Well, I just wanted to take a few minutes to introduce myself, and to tell you about my opinion of blogging as a therapy tool. I know that there are others like myself out there, you may know someone yourself! I thought if I shared my experience that someone else might like the idea and try it themselves. You never know what little thing will help you deal with things in the long run!
